How to Measure Your Bust, Waist, and Hips
Materials Needed:
A flexible measuring tape
A mirror
A notepad and pen for recording measurements
Steps:
1. Bust Measurement:
Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape is parallel to the floor.
Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight, and that it lays flat against your body.
Take the measurement in inches or centimeters and record it.
2. Waist Measurement:
Find your natural waist by bending to one side; the crease that forms is your natural waistline.
Wrap the measuring tape around this area, usually an inch or so above your belly button and below your ribcage.
Keep the tape snug but comfortable, ensuring it is parallel to the floor.
Take the measurement and record it.
3. Hip Measurement:
Stand with your feet together to ensure an accurate measurement.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, usually about 7-9 inches below your natural waist.
Ensure the tape is level and snug but not tight.
Take the measurement and record it.
